The success of each match is rated in percentage. A higher percentage indicates that the profile meets most of your requirements, while a lower percentage indicates that the profile meets only a few of your requirements.
For a better match, we advise you to regularly update your profile criteria.

  How do I find other members?
  There are two ways of browsing for members

1- If you know the handle of the member, you can enter it in the handle search box located in the top menu bar.
2- If you wish to search for general IwantU members, then click on the -Search- link and enter your specifications, then submit.

You may change your browse criteria with every new search.

  To start you search for other IwantU members,

As a VIP member, you may narrow down your search with additional search criteria. If you are receiving fewer matches, then consider broadening your search with less search criteria.

  How do I view pictures only?
  As they say "a picture is worth a thousand words". There are two ways to view pictures.
1-You can select -Profiles must contain pictures- From the -Search- page while browsing. This will display all the profiles that match your criteria that have pictures posted to them.
2-You may browse -Photo albums- by clicking on the -Photo Gallery- link in the -Community- page.

  search using either the Region or the Distance
  Please note that the browsing tool will match members in the same area based on the zip code or the closest city that each member has provided. We suggest you search using either the "Region” box or the "Distance” box, but not both.

The "Distance” box will base its results according to your zip code and the closest city you have selected in your profile, while the “Region” box will base the results according to your state or country.

Please note that in order to do a search by distance you need to edit your profile and select the "Closest city" otherwise the search will display results from all over the country.

If you wish to modify your information please click on -My Account- button and update your profile.

  What are the Chatroom Rules?
  The following rules are strictly enforced to provide everyone with a comfortable chatting environment.

Do Not flood the room with repeated messages.
Do Not use foul language in the moderated rooms and keep it reasonable in the non-moderated rooms.
Do Not threaten or harass any other member.
Do Not advertise on behalf of any other website; this can result in a permanent ban.
Do Not type only in UPPERCASE LETTERS as it will appear as if you are shouting.
It is considered polite to ask another member's permission before sending them a private message.

  How do I access the Chat?
  To start chatting with other IwantU members,

3-Then select the room you wish to join

You may join more than one room at a time but clicking on the different links. All chat rooms will open in the IWU centre allowing you to easily move
from one room to another.

  How do I get my message to appear on the Chat screen?
  To chat with other members, type your comment in the text bar located at the bottom of the window then press the ENTER or RETURN key on your keyboard to submit your comment.

  Are there any special computer or software requirements that I need to use IwantU's Chat?
  In order to access the chat you need a browser that can support JavaScript such as Internet Explorer version 4.0 or Netscape Navigator version 3 or higher.

You may download a free copy of the latest version of Internet Explorer from www.microsoft.com or a free copy of Netscape from www.netscape.com

If you experience connection problems while trying to access the Chat, please check your browser settings to make sure that you have enabled your browser to use JavaScript.

  IWU is the communication centre of IwantU.
It is the central place where you can access chat rooms, webcam shows as well as send private messages to members who are online.

  How do I send a private message in the chat?
  To send a private (PM) to a member,

1-Double Click on a members name in the user list found on the right hand side
2-Your private tab will automatically open allowing you to send a message to that member. You may also click on their name and select -Send Message- from the drop down menu then click on submit.

  I sent a private message to a member in chat but I do not see their name in the private tab?
  When you send a message to a member you will not see their name in your private tab until they reply to you. Once they reply then your communication with them is accessible through the private tab till either one of you logs out.

  When you receive a private message a yellow envelope will appear next to the senders name. Double click on the envelope and you will be able to open their message.

  Yes, you can access the chat and webcam shows at the same time. They all open in the IWU Centre where you can navigate through the tabs at the top of the page.

  To see someones profile from the chat room,

1-Highlight their handle name
2-Select view profile from the drop down list
3-Click on the double arrow button beside it

The members profile will then open in a new page.

  Only the room host can ban a member from their room.

1-Highlight the members handle
2-From the dropdown list, select the ban option

We strongly advise you to warn the member before banning them.

Only the admin can ban members from the chat rooms.

  Yes you can add any member to your hotlist from any of the rooms,

1-Highlight the members name

  How can I use my webcam to chat with the members?
  As a Free member you can start your own show with the webcams, but if you want to enjoy all the features that IwantU provides you will have to become a VIP member.

If you want to start your own show, go to Community page at the top of the site in the menu bar, there select the Start my own show link, and download the webcam software to get started.

  I downloaded webcam software but could not open and install
  Please note that if you are using Mac the software is not compatible with your machine.

If you have windows you need to save the file on your desktop then rename it to webcam.exe and then continue with the installation.

  How do I access my messages?
  All of those important and exciting IwantU member messages are stored in what is called your MAILBOX. To access your IwantU messages,

  How do I know if I have a new message?
  Your IwantU pager will notify you to your registered e-mail address when a new message is received in your Mailbox.

To view your messages,

3-Read, forward, delete or reply from your inbox

VIP members can turn their pager ON or OFF from Pager Settings- in the My Account- page.

  What are WantUs?
  WantUs are predefined notifications that you can send for free to IwantU members informing them that you are interested in them.

To check if you have received a WantU,

1-Login to your account with your handle and password

To send a WantU to a member,

1-View the members profile
2-Click on the WantU icon in the profile and select the predefined message you wish to send

The member will then receive your message in their Mailbox.

  What is a HOTLIST?
  The IwantU HOTLIST is a list of all members that you wish to maintain communication with.

To add a member to your HOTLIST,

1-View the members profile
2-Click on the -Add to Hotlist- icon in their profile

VIP members can add members to their hotlist for free. You can send unlimited messages to all members on your hotlist.

  What is an IGNORE LIST?
  The IwantU Ignore List is a list of all members that you do not wish to receive messages from.

To add a member to your Ignore List,

1-View the members profile
2-Click on the -Add to Ignore List- icon in their profile


Should a member bother you with unwanted, rude or otherwise inappropriate messages you have the choice to block any communication with them. Please note
that this applies to Private messages as well but not from the regular Chat rooms.

  IwantU allows you to post a different profile in every club

To edit your profile,

1-Login to your account with your handle and password
2-Click on the -My Account- link in the top menu bar
3-Select the Profile you wish to edit
4-Do your modifications then click on OK

Your profile will have a pending approval status till it gets verified by our browse agents and then approved.

  To post a picture with your profile,

4-Upload your picture then submit

Make sure that you are uploading your picture to the right profile. You may upload a different picture in every club.

  Here are simple rules to respect while uploading your photo. Please remember that we reserve the right to approve or reject any picture that does not
comply with our requirements.

JPG, GIF, BMP or TIF format
Max 200k file

What is acceptable and what is not:

Individual or group photos

You may include a picture of you alone or with your friends. Please make sure that you have the consent of the other people before posting it.

Copyrighted picture

You may post professionally taken pictures but make sure that no photographer has a copyright them. You may not scan any magazine or newspaper
picture.

ID photo

You may post a passport ID photo but make sure that no personal information is stamped on it.

Photos with children

Childrens picture may NOT be posted in any of the IwantU clubs even if their faces are covered.
Child pornography is against the law, anyone caught with explicit pictures of minors will be immediately reported to authorities.

Explicit pictures

You may post sexually explicit or nude pictures of yourself in all clubs EXEPT the Dating Club. There are no restrictions on the type of explicit
pictures you post in the Adult or Alt Club.

Your pet's picture

You may include pets in your picture but may not post a photo of them alone. (Bestiality is not allowed)

OLD pictures

We ask you to have a somewhat recent picture of yourself. It is important that you are honest about who you are and your age.

Personal Information

NO personal information such as e-mail address, mailing address, ICQ #, AOL ID or any other type of information is allowed on the picture. Please make
sure you check prior to posting or else your photo will be rejected.

Animation

No Anime or cartoons of any kind are allowed. Please only post a JPG or GIF file.

Please note that all pictures will be screened and reviewed for quality purposes. We reserve the right to hide or reject any picture.

2-Enter your handle and registered email address for verification

2-Click on the -My Account- link in the top menu bar
3-Select -Change Password- from the settings list and follow the steps provided


We suggest that you always include letters and numbers in your password with at least one Capital letter.

  How do I change my handle name?
  To change your handle, follow these simple steps

1-Verify if your desired handle is available. Enter your selection in the handle search field; if the result gives you no match found, then the handle name selected is available.
2-Once you have found the handle you wish, e-mail the administration from

With your present and desired handle name in quotation marks.

All Handles should be between 6 and 15 characters, letters and numbers only and they should always start with a letter.

  How do I change my registered email address?
  A valid email address is required in order to access IwantU.com to replace or edit your email address by logging in at the following link:

or click on the -My Account- button after login and submit your new address.

A verification email will be sent to your registered email address. Please verify all your mail folders for the e-mail and add our e-mail address to your buddy list in order to receive all future communication to your inbox.

  How do I cancel my membership?
  Please note that for security reasons we do not have access to cancell any VIP membership. In order to cancel your VIP account the cancellation has to be done 48 hours prior to your renewal date.

To verify your renewal date,

1-Login to your account with your handle and password
2-Click on the -VIP- button and you will see a notice stating when your VIP pass will renew.

To cancel your membership,

1-Click on the -My Account- link in the top menu bar
2-Select -Cancel Membership- from the settings list
3-Fill out the form and submit. The system will then log you out and remove you from the database.
4-You may also copy-paste the following link on your browser:

Cancellation is done through the account directly as it requires your password.

Once you cancel you are automatically removed from the site and you lose any tokens, messages and any time remaining on your account.

  How do membership renewals work?
  If you purchase your VIP pass by credit card or electronic check, your VIP pass will automatically renew at your renewal period.
If you do not wish to renew your VIP pass, you must cancel your membership before the automatic renewal date. We advise that you cancel your membership 48 hours prior to the automatic renewal date to ensure that the billing department has been notified.

To cancel your membership,

  What are the different methods of payment available?
  Presently there are 7 methods of payment available:

1) CREDIT CARD: This is done by entering your credit card details on-line using a secure server. Please note that all VIP passes purchased by credit card are automatically renewed.

2) ELECTRONIC CHECK: This option is only available to US residents. You enter your checking information the same as they appear on your check. The membership is then deducted from your checking account. Please note that this method of payment is also automatically renewed.

3) TOLL FREE 1-800 #: A customer Care Agent will process your credit Card purchase over the phone. Please have your credit card on hand when you call. This method of payment is automatically renewed.

4) 1-900 OPTION: This is done by charging your membership to your phone bill. You will need to call the 1-900 number provided and retrieve your PIN number. Please note that this method of payment is only available to US residents and is NOT automatically renewed.

5) BY FAX: Members can upgrade to a VIP status by faxing in their credit card details. Fill out the form provided and fax it in. This method of payment is automatically renewed.

6) TrustCash: trustcash is a way to pay for things online. It's just like real cash with no risk of credit card fraud, recurring charges, no record of where you spent your money.

7)Netcash: netcash is a completely anonymous credit card payment option to immediately acquire VIP membership. It's online cash, with no record of
where you spent your money. It will appear only on your statement as Netcash.

  How do I get a screen shot of my safe list?
  In order to credit your account with tokens, we require a screen shot as a proof that you added us to the safe list or the contact list of your registered email provider.

Follow the instructions below:

1-Open your email

2-Go to your safe list or your contact list.

3-Once the list is on your screen press the key "Print Screen" on your keyboard.

4-Open a word document.

5-Press together the "Control" key and the letter "V" on your keyboard or go to the Edit menu on the top bar of your Word document and click on "Paste".

6-Save the document with the screen shot.

7-Send us an email attaching the file.

  How can I earn tokens?
  Tokens are an option for IwantU members to purchase with which they could access extra features such as reading messages, viewing profiles, viewing photo galleries, sending messages and much more. As a VIP Member you do not need Tokens anymore, because you have full access to all features on the site.

Please note that you can Earn Free Tokens with the following features:

1. Invite a friend, you will earn 10 tokens. The email address has to be confirmed before you receive the credit.

2. Invite a friend, you will earn 200 tokens only if the member invited becomes a VIP.

9. Post a success story and you will earn 10 tokens. One time only. The account will be credited when the story is posted.

10. Add us to your safelist or contact list and earn 10 tokens. One time only. The account will be credited once the customer service department receives a screen shot of the actual safelist or contact list page from your registered email address on our site.

11.Reply to magazine article or question and get 1 token per each.5 tokens max per month. The account will be credited when the question is approved.

  Tokens are an option for IwantU members to purchase with which they could access extra features such as reading messages, viewing profiles, viewing photo galleries, sending messages and much more. Tokens could be purchased or earned on the site.

Free members will need 1 token to view a profile or to read a message, 5 tokens to send a message.

Our VIP members do not need tokens because they have unlimited access to our site.

  I do not have a credit card. How can I pay?
  Please note that if you do not have a credit card, you have 3 options to select from:

1) Online Check. This method is like a credit card, only the payments are deducted from your checking account.

2) The 1-900 option. This is a 1 time charge of $24.95 for the monthly pass. It bills you to your phone bill and is only available to U.S Residents.

3) TrustCash: trustcash is a new way to pay for things online. It's just like real cash with no risk of credit card fraud, recurring charges, and no record of where you spent your money.
